  • The original letter sent by the educational centre including contact details that the facility has, the date of the commencement date and date of finalization of the course, the study program to be observed.
  • Application Form Request to apply for National Visa.
  • The application must be made in person by the applicant at the Embassy of Spain in New Delhi or Consulate General of Spain in Mumbai and strictly in line with the current location of the residence of applicants. Applications submitted via post or courier will not be considered.
  • The passport of the applicant must be valid for at least 4 months from the date of the application. Photocopies of all pages of the passport prior to submission (if any) and current passports is required.
  • Original application Form for National Visa duly filled in and completed by the applicant in the blue ballpoint ink. A recent photo (35-45 millimetres) of applicant on a white background is required to the request form. The application form should be completed correctly, giving all the information required in the form. This includes email address, postal address, and phone number.
  • For minors (below 18 years old) the application form has to have the signatures of both parents. Photocopies of passports for both parents, signed by a notary public must be included.

The certificate at the time of submission should not be more than three months older.
  • If you are in Delhi medical certificates issued at the below hospitals are recognized as valid: Max Healthcare, Fortis Hospitals, Primus Super Speciality Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The document at the time of submission, must not be more than 3 months old.
  • A Police Clearance Document issued by responsible authorities in the nation. If it is India the certificate has to come from the Regional Passport Office and must be stamped with the stamp of the Apostille of Hague issued by Ministry of External Affairs in India. For Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Bhutan the certificate should have been issued by respective competent authorities. The document should also be legalized by the appropriate Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Mission of the country in New Delhi. The document at the time of submission, should be no more than three months old.
  • If the applicant isn't a citizen of India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal or the Maldives or the Maldives, document proving that he/she is legally resident in one or these nations (Residence permits).
  • If the applicant been in a different country in the past five years the Criminal Record Certificate must be presented along with the seal of Apostille from Hague or a legalization issued from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Mission of the country in New Delhi( which ever be in force).
  • Copy of academic credentials from the past.
  • The evidence of income is required to be able to study within Spain and to fund the duration of the stay in Spain. The supporting documents may be of the student or the applicant's parents. If parents of the applicant parent(s) that the student is applying to be sponsoring his/her education the application should include an official letter of commitment signed in the original by one or of both parents. Photocopies of passports of both parent(s) is required.
  • The proof of accommodation is required during the time spent within Spain. Hotel reservations cannot be considered evidence of lodging.
  • Insurance proof (for the duration of your time spent in Spain) for costs that may result from repatriation due to medical reasons urgent medical treatment and/or hospital emergency treatment It must also be in force for the duration of the Schengen territory and covers all the time of the stay. The minimum coverage amount is 30000 euros which is 50.000 US dollars.
